Just got 4 dogs from Dan MacEachen/Krabloonik Kennels to try out for the team; Cash, Carson, Travis, and Garth. Forgot to mention earlier that Allison Peticolas is helping us train dogs again this year and has been a great help and addition to Team Clarke. Two  former A/U employees, Steph Gatten and Amy Alshire are also helping out and will be our handlers for when we head up to Montana to train and race… »

Roy and Jetta had their first chances at learning how to lead, running with Louise and Ellie respectively. Both did well, Jetta being the better of the two (they are brother and sister). Our run was around the AU Ranches, but bumped up the mileage to four… »

Started training just after Labor Day, running just the 8 yearlings 1 ½ miles with 2 veteran leaders to keep things headed in the right direction. We start our fall training by running the dogs on ATVs’ with the engine on and in gear to provide resistance training as well as some measure of control… »
