Training Log 10/11/09
Forgot to mention earlier that Allison Peticolas is helping us train dogs again this year and has been a great help and addition to Team Clarke. Two former A/U employees, Steph Gatten and Amy Alshire are also helping out and will be our handlers for when we head up to Montana to train and race this season. So far, we will have 2 teams in the Flathead Lake races Jan. 9-10, @ in the Seely Lake 200 race, 1 in Race to The Sky; then the big one in Alaska, first Saturday in March
This week we’ll be upping the miles and getting several young, new dogs from Dan MacEachen to try out for the team. Dan has been instrumental in helping us improve with his solid mentoring and coaching.
